Civil War Encampment & Demonstration

Join the Putnam County Historical Society for a look into the life of a Civil War Soldier. Company A of the 5th New York Volunteer Infantry, the “Duryee Zouaves”, one of the oldest and most respected Civil War living history organizations, will be on hand to discuss Civil War encampments, the history of the 5th New York, and demonstrate some of the weaponry used during the war.Also, the first 50 people will recieve a free GO-GO Ice Pop.
